Abbot Point Port Receives Shiploader From SAL


News: A 1,250-tonne coal shiploader has been delivered to the port of Abbot Point in Queensland, Australia by SAL Heavy Lift, after completing the required refurbishment and upgrading. The loader was delivered by SAL by using its heavy lift vessel Svenja. Under the refurbishment project, the shiploader's capacity has been enhanced from 5,000tph to 7,000tph. Moreover, it now weighs 1,250 tonnes as compared to its previous weight of 1,050 tonnes (Australian Journal of Mining).
