ACP Tests Just-In-Time Service
News: The Panama Canal Authority (ACP) is engaged in testing a new just-in-time service with vessel operators. The trial of the service was started ACP on February 1 and the trial session will run for a maximum of 60 days. Meanwhile, a delegation from the canal, headed by Administrator Jorge L. Quijano, conducted discussions on the programme with the representatives of two major shipping groups - the International Association of Independent Tanker Owners and the International Association of Dry Cargo Shipowners. The discussions were held on a conceptual framework of the waterway's toll structure post-expansion.
