Adabiya And Tawfik Ports Set For Development Projects


News: New projects for stimulating domestic and foreign investment opportunities at the Adabiya and Tawfik ports in Egypt have been disclosed by the Red Sea Ports Authority (RSPA). The projects will boost the capacity of the Tawfik port to 1.5mn tonnes and will generate new job opportunities for 500 people during construction, according to Minister of Transportation Ibrahim El-Demeiry. In addition, 2,000 job opportunities will be generated after the completion of the project. The projects on the Adabiya Port will include the construction of a station for storing wheat, and will generate 700 jobs during construction and 1,500 jobs after it, according to RSPA Chairman Hassan Falah (Daily News Egypt).
