Aston Martin Discusses SUV Partnership With Daimler

News: UK-based luxury sportscar manufacturer Aston Martin is in talks with German automaker Daimler over the prospect of building a sports utility vehicle (SUV) together, reports Bloomberg. The move will extend the technology cooperation partnership between the automakers, who signed an agreement in 2013 to share technology. Daimler agreed to buy a 5% stake in Aston Martin as part of the deal. It will also see AMG, the high performance division of Mercedes-Benz, develop V-8 engines for the British carmaker's next models.
