Auto Firms Set To Invest EUR75-80mn


News: Two carmakers from Western Europe intend to invest EUR75-80mn (USD103.8-110.74mn) in Romania, according to the president of the Romanian Car Producers Association (ACAROM), Constantin Stroe. He added the two companies are seeking associations with national producers that lack technical equipment. Stroe said the move is expected to create around 170 jobs. The country's auto sector registered nearly a 20% rise in turnover, to EUR15.9bn (USD22.01bn), in 2013.
