Baidu May Open Internet Search Services


News: China-based web services company Baidu may open its internet search service in Brazil in 2014, reports Brazilian press. The company had launched a field office in the city of São Paulo and presently employs 15 people. Most are engineers who are involved in conducting market research to identify the habits and preferences of Brazilian internet users. 'Brazil has 100mn internet users and according to forecasts, this will rise to 140mn in two years,' said Baidu Brasil's marketing manager Felipe Zmoginski (BNamericas).
