BAM Secures US$63.5mn Contract For Aqaba LNG Terminal


News: Dutch contractor BAM International has won a US$63.5mn design and construction contract from Jordan's Aqaba Development Corporation to build the Aqaba New Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) Terminal in Aqaba, Jordan. The contract includes the design and construction of an LNG jetty, with mechanical, engineering and piping services. BAM International, in a joint venture with Jordan-based MAG Engineering & Contracting Company, is expected to complete the project in 15 months. Delta Marine Consultants, a subsidiary of BAM, has designed the project's civil works.
