BlackBerry To Pre-Install BBM Over Smartphones

News: Canadian smartphone manufacturer BlackBerry plans to partner with handset makers from India, such as Micromax, Spice and Zen, to pre-install its popular messaging app BlackBerry Messenger (BBM) over their smartphones. The move will allow users to get connected with other BBM users without downloading the app or paying download charges. 'BBM will soon come preinstalled on a variety of Android-based smartphones from leading original equipment manufacturers across Africa, India, Indonesia, Latin America and the Middle East,' said BlackBerry in a statement (PTI). Android smartphones from several companies, such as Be, Brightstar, Celkon, Mito and Snexian, are expected to have BBM preinstalled from early December.
