CEPA To Execute Airport Upgrade Plan In 2014


News: El Salvador's national ports operator Comisión Ejecutiva Portuaria Autónoma (CEPA) has revealed that its master plan for the renovation and upgrade of the El Salvador International Airport will be ready in November 2013. The plan, which is aimed at benefiting more non-airport operations, will be executed in 2014, according to CEPA's President Alberto Arene. Several basic works, such as changing the air conditioners, resurfacing runways, and remodelling waiting rooms, as part of remodelling work entailing investment worth US$12mn, has been conducted so far, reports Elsalvador.com.
