China To Build New Airport In Tibet


News: The Chinese government has announced that it will build a new airport in Tibet, reports Airport Technology. The US$184mn facility will be located in Dawu Township at an altitude of 3,780m. It will have an annual capacity of 80,000 passengers. Construction will commence in H213 with an expected completion date of 2016.
