Chinese Provinces To Invest In Infrastructure


News: The governments of Jiangsu, Shanxi and Sichuan provinces in China plan to invest in infrastructure expansion during 2014. Jiangsu province allocated about USD11.38bn for transport infrastructure during 2014, of which USD458.4mn will be used to build airports and USD4.53bn will be invested in road projects. Shanxi Province will invest USD3.44bn in road construction projects during the year, while Sichuan Province will spend USD11.56bn on road projects. The Chinese government has approved plans to build a USD2.95bn bridge project that will connect the economically important cities of Ningbo in Zhejiang Province and Shanghai.
