Dacia To Supply H4 Range Engines To Smart


News: Dacia, the wholly owned Romanian subsidiary of French automaker Renault, will provide engines from the H4 range to the Daimler-owned Smart division. The move is part of a partnership between Daimler and Renault Technology Romania. The H4 engine range is manufactured at Dacia's Pitesti facility and will be used to power the next generation of the Smart ForTwo. The engine is part of the Renault group's downsizing strategy and powers the new Dacia Logan and Sandero and the Renault Clio 4.
