Dell To Expand In China

News: US-based technology company Dell said plans to open a large number of stores in China, including stores in cities in the hinterland as well as in coastal markets, reports The Street. The company also said that by end-2013 it is to start selling a new tablet only in China, where according to Gartner, it holds a market share of 11.54%. The announcements come as Dell's net income fell 72% in Q213 and it faces a division between one group including founder Michael Dell and Silver Lake Partners, and another group including some company shareholders over whether to take Dell private or not.
