Enerjisa Seeks Bids For Hydro Project


News: Turkish power generation company Enerjisa Enerji Üretim is seeking bids to complete the construction and hydro-mechanical works of the 62MW Dogancay hydroelectric project on the Dogancay Stream, in Turkey. The deadline for the submission of bids is April 7. The entire hydro project includes an underground powerhouse; a concrete gravity weir with controlled spillway; intake structure; a 7km, 3.5m-diameter power tunnel; surge tank and 200m vertical, 500m horizontal penstocks. Work left to be carried out includes completion of a 3km energy tunnel and inserting vertical penstocks. The powerhouse and the horizontal penstock have been completed and 4km of the energy tunnel, the surge tank and the penstock tunnels have been excavated.
