Gas Auction To Be Delayed

News: International oil companies (IOCs) want the Lebanese government to delay the April 10 gas auction deadline by at least three months, reports the Daily Star. The IOCs are reportedly unwilling to make any investments in Lebanon's gas and oil blocks until the number of blocks that would be auctioned and the conditions for exploration are established. The government has already delayed the auction, after the caretaker cabinet failed to approve two decrees to establish the number of blocks that would be auctioned and set the revenue mechanism.
