Gas Discounts To Energy-Intensive Factories Located In South

News: The French government is planning to give gas discounts to energy-intensive factories in the south of the country, according to Benjamin Gallezot, an official at the industry ministry. This comes in the wake of higher gas prices paid by local users, compared with industries in the north. Prices are high in the southern part of the country due to 'structurally' tighter supply and diversion of imports from Europe to Asia, Reuters reported.
