Government Plans To Privatise Nova KBM


News: The government of Slovenia announced plans to privatise Nova KBM, the second-largest bank in the country, as it seeks to raise budget income and enhance corporate governance, according to Finance Minister Uros Cufer (Banking Business Review). The bank was a recipient of EUR870mn (USD1.2bn) of the total EUR3.3bn (USD4.56bn) injected by Slovenia into its banks in December 2013. The government aims to complete the whole privatisation process in 2014, Cufer added.
