Health Ministry Proposes Introduction Of Pharmaceutical Inspectorate
News: The Kazakh health ministry has proposed the introduction of a state pharmaceutical inspectorate to improve the quality and accessibility of healthcare in the country. The proposal was made by Serikbol Musinov, the executive secretary of the health ministry, during a meeting of the Majlis committee for social and cultural development. According to Musinov, the main objective of the proposal is to identify shortcomings in the current healthcare legislation and harmonise it with international standards. He added that the pharmaceutical inspectorate will conduct inspections and establish whether the quality of drugs is in accordance with international pharmaceutical standards.
