Honda To Reduce Production At Swindon Plant

News: Japanese automaker Honda Motor is decreasing production at its Swindon plant in the UK. Honda has cut the shifts at this factory from three to two, owing to reduction in demand throughout Europe. The shift reduction is likely to result in a loss of up to 340 jobs of the total 3,000 employees working at the Swindon plant. Honda has also witnessed a reduction in its market share to 2.46% in 2013 in the country since the recession in 2007.
