HTC Expects Return To Profit In Q214


News: Taiwanese mobile technology firm HTC expects to return to a profit in Q214, helped by new devices including its flagship One M8 smartphone and new mid-range Desire phones. The firm forecasts revenue of TWD65-70bn (USD2.16-2.32bn) in Q214, compared with TWD33bn (USD1.1bn) in Q114. The gross margin is expected to reach between 21.3% and 22% in Q214, compared with 21% in Q114. HTC expects earnings per share to reach at TWD2.21-3 (USD0.07-0.09) in Q214 after a loss of TWD2.28 (USD0.075) in Q114.
