Johnson & Johnson Brings Businesses Under Single Chairman

News: Jesse Wu, the global chairman of US-based Johnson & Johnson's (J&J) consumer business, has been selected as the chairman of J&J China, reports Reuters. Wu will collectively head all J&J's Chinese operations from September 2013, according to spokesman Ernie Knewitz. He stated that the company has decided to bring all its Chinese operations under a single head to boost sales and centralise corporate supervision. The move comes amid the ongoing corruption investigations in China against pharmaceutical companies. However, each of the three units will decide its own business strategies, with the general manager and president of every unit reporting to Wu.
