Joint Venture To Construct Solar Park


News: A joint venture (JV), comprising Swiss firm Prinz Karl Thurn und Taxis Management and China-based photovoltaic manufacturer Hareon Solar Technology, will build a solar park in Livno, Bosnia-Herzegovina, reports ONASA. The first phase of the project will entail an investment of BAM900mn (US$635mn). The solar park, which will be built under a concession contract at Brda, Tusnica and Caic sites, will have an installed capacity of 450MW. The park will generate 600,000kVh of electricity a year. The process for obtaining required permit for the solar park is under way.
