Lisbon Port Invests In NSW System, Terminal Development

News: The Portuguese port of Lisbon plans to invest in new terminal and a national single window (NSW) system in order to make operations easier, faster, more efficient and transparent. An electronic NSW system is being developed by the port since 2008 to meet the June 1 2015 European Commission deadline, when all the information of ships travelling through EU ports will be provided electronically. The new terminal, which is scheduled for completion in 2020, will increase the port's capacity and improve productivity. The NSW's development is in its final stage and will improve competitiveness of the port.
