New Commercial Port To Serve Angolan Capital


News: The Angolan capital of Luanda is set to have a new commercial port, reports the African Monitor. The planned facility will be constructed at the Dande River bar with the aim of easing congestion at the city's main port infrastructure. The port is considered vital for addressing the rising internal demand and the strong growth of commercial dynamics, according to an analysis document released by Portuguese bank Banco Espirito Santo. A naval base will also be constructed at the site.
