New Terminal Likely To Be Finished In May 2014

News: A total of 30% of the phase two project to construct a multi-use terminal at Eastern China's port of Hefei has been completed so far, and the development work is likely to be fully concluded in May 2014, reports Xinhua. The terminal will be equipped with a total of four 2,000-tonne multi-use berths that will enable it to handle 430,000 twenty-foot equivalent units (TEUs) and 590,000 tonnes of bulk material. The port's container throughput stood at 19,000 TEUs in Q113, and is expected to increase to 80,000 TEUs by end-2013.
