Oil Terminals At Tobruk, Zueitina Reopen

News: Libya's oil terminals at the ports of Tobruk and Zueitina reopened during the weekend of October 12-13 after the ports were closed due to protests, reports Reuters, citing Libya's Deputy Oil Minister Omar Shakmak. The Zueitina port was closed for about six weeks and was reopened after an agreement was reached with protesters, who had demanded jobs. The Tobruk port was closed for around a week, but was reopened after talks with protestors. Meanwhile, guards were attacked and their weapons and vehicles were seized by assailants at Libya's gas-exporting Mellitah complex, Shakmak added. However, the attack did not disrupt operations.
