Pirates Release Four Crew Members Kidnapped In April

News: Pirates have released four crew members kidnapped on April 22 from container vessel Hansa Marburg offshore Equatorial Guinea, reports Reuters, citing the vessel's management company Leonhardt and Blumberg. Two of the four crew members were from Ukraine, while the remaining two were from Russia and Kiribati respectively. Meanwhile, the company did not provide any further details about the release in order to avoid encouraging further acts of piracy. Costs have increased for shipping companies operating in the Gulf of Guinea region due to the piracy.
