President Sargsyan Tells Health Minister To Address Shadow Economy


News: Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan has asked Minister of Health Derenik Dumanyan to tackel the 'shadow economy' in the healthcare sector. This follows a fall in economic growth in the sector. Sargsyan told Dumanyan to implement a monitoring system in the Ministry of Health and demand monthly reports from 466 medical facilities in the country. Dumanyan was also instructed to have complete results inspections at the facilities in September. State Revenue Committee chairman Gagik Khachatryan has also suggested programmes in partnership with the health ministry to deal with shadow economy.
