RITES Submits Feasibility Study For Duggarajapatnam Port


News: Rail India Technical and Economic Service (RITES) has submitted a feasibility study for building the proposed Port of Duggarajapatnam in Andhra Pradesh, reports The Hindu Business Line. The government of Andhra Pradesh will have a stake of between 11% and 26%, while Visakhapatnam Port Trust and other public entities would hold the remaining stakes in the project. The construction of the port, which will initially have four berths, will be carried out using a special purpose vehicle. The port project is worth around INR96bn (US$1.54bn).
