Rosneft Reportedly Offering Siberian Oil Company Stake To CNPC


News: Russian oil company Rosneft has reportedly offered partner China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC) an opportunity to acquire a stake in Siberian oil firm Taas-Yuryakh , according to Rigzone. Rosneft holds a 35% interest in the firm and is thought to be prepared to offer CNPC 30%, leaving itself with just 5%, in the interest of strengthening their existing bond. Talks are, however, at an early stage and neither party has as yet moved to comment or disclose further details.
