Sudatel To Enter Mobile Market


News: Sudan-based telecoms operator Sudatel acquired the mobile licence of Intercel Guinea through its Expresso Senegal subsidiary to enter the Guinean mobile market, reports Les Afriques. The operator plans to invest more than US$50mn expanding its network to over 730 base stations in the region. The operator has also apparently signed a deal with Swedish mobile technology developer Ericsson to provide equipment to facilitate plans to obtain a 4G licence.
