Toyota Motor Recalls 400,000 Vehicles


News: Japanese automaker Toyota Motor has recalled more than 400,000 vehicles in Saudi Arabia, according to Saudi Arabian Ministry of Commerce and Industry. The affected vehicles were manufactured between 2006 and 2010. The move was driven by worries about unintended acceleration. About 19mn Toyota vehicles worldwide were recalled between late 2009 to early 2011 because of the same matter. The automaker and its agent in Saudi Arabia, Abdul Latif Jameel Company, are set to deploy brake override systems in the affected vehicles, the ministry added.
