Wokingham Named UK’s Technology Capital


News: Wokingham in Berkshire has been named the UK's tech capital, according to research from accountancy firm KPMG. The report showed the town -outside Reading - has a proportion of technology workers that is five times the national average. Further, the town has a large number of multinational and small-and medium-sized firms based in Thames Valley Business Park and Suttons Business Park, such as Aurum Solutions and Ha Solutions. The study also shows 38% of tech companies in the UK expect to grow and take on more staff during 2014.
